The Vicious Cycle of Heart Conditions and Stress

Stress can affect the body in so many negative ways it is not true. If you are under a great deal of stress for whatever reason, your heart can feel the strain and you are at a higher risk of having a stroke if your life makes you anxious or tense al lot of the time.

You can even get stressed from thinking about the stress you are under. It’s a never ending cycle for people with heart problems like heart failure, atrial fibrillation or if you have high cholesterol, you are in a higher risk category if your life is very stressful.

When you are under duress, your body releases ‘stress hormones’ which can cause your main arteries to swell beyond normal. And the problem that most people face is how they deal with stress, because these ‘remedies’ will more often than not, increase the chances of you having more heart problems.
