These are just some of the health benefits that the spices in your kitchen cupboard have. They were first used as cures and remedies in ancient China, but only recently has the western world realized the wonderful benefits that spices have.

Some people opt for drugs to heal their common ailments, but after reading the articles below you and I will both know what spice to use in our next meal to help us through a cold or if we want to clear up a bacterial infection or other virus that makes us unwell.

Spices like fresh ginger root and garlic are high on the list for their healing properties, and while these have amazing healing capabilities by themselves, others have a better punch when mixed with other spices and fruits.
